Gardner Village Witches

This year we went to visit the Witches at Gardner Village with some of our best friends. Kenzie and I went on a girls only trip with the Cornells.
Actually, it was a girls only trip without any "little girls"....which made it kinda nice for a change. We were happy to see they had added a few new witches this year (although you wouldn't know it based on my pics all with the same witch).
Oh look, the witch hooting with owls again! Actually, I do have a picture of Kristin with a very well endowed witch....but I'll let her blog that picture. ;)
After we'd seen all there was to see we had a fun lunch at Macaroni Grill. We thought the girls would like it since you can color on the table cloth.....and sure enough, they did. On our way home we HAD to stop by the Wood Connection. You just can't be in that neck of the woods and not stop in to see the latest wood creations. Did we walk out empty handed? Of course not! It's always fun to add to your stash of "crafts that need to be finished".
Since our kids were both off-track, we went again on Halloween morning with the Biglers and ALL the kiddos. We printed off a witch search on the internet and had fun hunting for the various witches while we walked around. After finding all the witches, you could take your scavenger hunt to the bakery and get a discounted cookie. After eating our chocolate chip cookies and drinking the juice out of the wax pop bottles from the candy store, we headed to Iceberg for lunch. We each had coupons that we realized expired that day so it was a no-brainer. The kids all had fun and ate lots of yummy ice-cream. I had all the older kids in my car, so on the way home they all watched Twilight....vampires and wolves seemed scary enough for Halloween!
