Hoppy Easter

Sunday Best on Easter Morning

Note to self: DO NOT wait until after church to take pictures of Easter dresses if you have a child in nursery. They eat lots of snacks on a normal day, throw in an Easter sucker and you have drool everywhere.

Since church is at 9:00 this year, we decided to wait until after church to see if the Easter Bunny paid us a visit. Looks as though he did!

The older kids are getting pretty quick at finding their Easter baskets (and the Easter Bunny is running out of new spots to hide baskets)!

With some help from the older kids, Brooke and Karissa found their Easter goodies.

Karissa loves the jack-in-the-box and Grams house. Knowing this, the Easter Bunny left her a chicken that pops out of an egg.

We went over to Tara's for a yummy Easter dinner. As always, Mackay delivered again with BEAUTIFUL dresses for all the girls. They are all the same, yet different. Thanks so much Mackay!!!

After several Easter Egg Hunts, Karissa finally started to get the general idea. She just needs to speed things up if she ever wants to fill that basket!

Kenzie had a lot of fun this year helping Karissa learn the basics of the hunt. The boys quickly took their spoils to the top of the playset so the little girls could not mess with their money and candy. Before the hunt this year, Blake announced that he was going to pick up each plastic egg, shake it, and if it didn't sound like money, he was going to toss it back and run to the next egg. Smart boy....leave the candy for the little kids, go for the $$$$!!

Last year we tried making Rice Krispie treats out of the nasty Easter icon......Peeps.

P.S. - We did do our traditional Easter Chicks.....but just realized there are NO pictures of them this year. Bummer.
