The beginings of something "Lofty"
Blake, Seth and Uncle Justin carrying back the wood for what will soon be our new pigeon loft. It's been almost a year since the boys got their first pigeons for their birthday. It has turned into a hobby that our entire family enjoys. We check on them every time we go outside, play with them, watch them fly circles above our home and "piggy back one another" on our roof, band them with our family name and number, keep track of which ones are couples and who their birdie babies are, take them for show and tell, and take them with us in the car to see who can get home the quickest (us in our car, or them "as a bird flies"). They are great pets.
Seth was carrying back a large board when it slipped and fell on his steel toed boot....er, I mean flip flop. I guess the first thing Pa has taught him while building something is to wear appropriate clothing. OUCH!
