Blake's Baptism Day

Dad and Blake all dressed in white. Even though it was the 4th of July weekend, Blake had lots of friends and family attend his baptism to show their love and support.
After his baptism and confirmation, we headed back to the house to visit and had lots of fun summertime snacks....ALL red, white, and blue of course!
Blake enjoying an 8 shaped cookie and some yummy slush.
We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. We worried that at 2:00 in the afternoon we would all be miserably hot. But not the case. It was a cool low 80 degrees with a slight breeze....PERFECT!
Happy Independence Day!
Yum. Chocolate covered strawberries!
Gifts bring a smile every time.
Could this be the Golden Plates???
Indeed it is! Blake has wanted his own scriptures since Kenz got hers on her 8th birthday. He couldn't be more happy!
Blake with Grandma and Grandpa Becker. Thanks for coming over!
Blake with Grams and Pa. Blake's baptism day was a wonderful day that will last forever in our memories.
