Blake's 8th Birthday

Blake is Eight!
Blake's last new bike was when he first learned to ride at 5 years old. If ever there was something that we bought for the kids that we can truly say we got our monies worth...it was his first bike. He has ridden that little green bike into the ground. We have replace entire tires that were worn to the threads, broken reflectors and pedals, fixed many flats, and added gallons of slime to his tires. The past few months the chain has been falling off every time he hits a bump....but still he rides on. So for his birthday Blake wanted a new bike. After discovering that he liked to go on long bike rides and that "gears" made it much easier to ride, he wanted a "gear-bike".
For his birthday cake he got a number 8 made out of bike tires.
Blake LOVES to play checkers (and is quite good at it). So he also got a big, rug style checker board.
Names to mark their parking stall in the garage.
The evening of Blake's birthday we rode 7 1/2 miles round trip to the best Hawaiian Ice around. What a ride!
We hope all your wishes come true Buddy!
