Universal Studios A family picture with Sponge Bob Squarepants...nice. I was getting the kids photo in the bikini bottom scene behind us when all the sudden Blake started acting goofy and pointing into the thin air behind me. I told him to stop and act normal just for one more photo with Gary the snail. He wouldn't stop, so I finally looked behind me and there was Sponge Bob heading straight for us.

The kids love watching Curious George, especially Blake. So it was a special treat to get a picture with him. Blake wanted to play every "carnival" type game we saw, so we let him play this one since the winning prize was a Curious George stuffed animal. This picture doesn't show it, because I caught it on video instead, but right before they sat down to play George came up, payed his money and was a great competitor and a good sport as he gave Blake a high five after he won!
Simpsons was the one movie that I asked John to no longer indulge in after we got married and had kids...for OBVIOUS reasons. So when he saw the Kwik-E-Mart he wanted his picture taken in front of it.
McKenzie showing off her theatrical talents as she trembles in fear just moments before being chased by the Hulk.
The best drink and the best value of the entire trip goes to Universal Studios and this refillable 32 ounce Sponge Bob. For a mere 75 cents we could refill it all day long and it was the smoothest tasting diet Coke of the entire trip. Gulp! John even asked the hotel for a picture of soda when we got back that night to refill it one last time before the day ended. The kids LOVED coming back to the hotel every night and spreading out the days souvenirs and playing, playing, playing. This is also the infamous Sponge Bob that nearly made us miss our flight home as the security people thought it necessary to go through 3 bags to find him and then run him through the scanner 2-3 times before letting him board (all while our names are individually being called over the PA system).
