Our Thanksgiving was a little different this year. We decided to try something a little.....off. We decided to spend the holiday together. Just the seven of us.
We decorated our Christmas tree

Goofed off
Hung our stockings
Posed for more pictures
Looked confused
Did A LOT of sitting around
And something we NEVER have done on Thanksgiving
Went to a movie...Happy Feet 2
Karissa watched it (which she NEVER does)
Mom sat around with ice packs on her shin splints
Boodie snuggled with her doggie
We bought several new board games to play together. The kids had never played life...they LOVE it.
This homemade pumpkin cheesecake was the highlight of my Thanksgiving. Truly a little slice of Heaven (thanks Kristin). I still have mixed feelings on the decision. It definitely had its pros and cons. Will it become a new family tradition? All signs point to "probably not".
