First Day of School - 2011

After a quick 3 week summer break, school is back in swing. This year Kenz is in 5th grade and is being team taught by some very cute, fun teachers. Mrs. Davis teaches social studies, science, and reading every morning and Mrs. Flinton teaches math and rotations after lunch. Stop growing up Kenz!!!! You're nearly as tall as your 5th grade teachers. :)Blake is in the 4th grade and is super excited to have 3 of his best friends from the neighborhood/ward in his class (poor teacher).Blake has Mrs. Danner and is glad to be on the "older" end of the school. He had reading with Mrs. Danner two years ago and loved her, so we are happy to have her for all subjects this year. I CANNOT believe my little Pup is in 2nd grade!!!

Now, why did we choose "C" track?!?!? Mrs. Sube is the reason!!! Blake had her for 2nd grade. He brought his track assignment home and proudly told me he had "Staff". "Staff" (meaning an unfilled spot or new teacher) turned out to be THE BEST teacher any of the kids have had thus far. I LOVE how she teaches and how much the kids grow in knowledge and confidence. When Seth walked into class on the first day she said, "Oh yeah, another Becker Boy!" Soooo glad we got her for Seth.
