We may as well start this post the same way the baseball season began. "EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET A CUP", says the coach. Immediately at least 3/4 of the boys look around like they have no idea what he is saying but NO ONE wants to show they are clueless. So the coach asks, "Do you know what I am talking about?" and still all the players except one sit, pretending to know what he is referring to. The one kid with nothing to hide, raises his hand and admits that he doesn't know what's going on. The coach simply says, "When you get home tell your parents you need a cup.......and NOT the kind you drink out of". And that my friends, is how the first practice ended......now Let's Play Ball!
This year baseball definitely stepped up a notch. From the draft to be on a team, right down to how the coaches talk and what they expect from the kids in the dugout. The batting order is posted and it is up to the boys to be in the right order and to get their batting helmets on and out getting in their practice swings before they get up to the plate.
Batter up!
Blake contemplating a steal....

GO Blako GO!
Sliding into home.........and he's SAFE!
Sliding into home.........and he's SAFE!
Also something new, these games last much longer....so when the Yankees head into the outfield,
the girlies LOVE to run to the nearby park to play for a spell.
We all knew this day would come. In the last two months we have been asked 4 times by complete strangers if they are twins. NOPE, just one that is 30% of height and the other that is 95% of height.
We have a picture of Kenzie doing this exact thing....feeding sand to the playground animals.

The cup. One of my fave Blake-o stories. 'Nuff said. He's so cute and so innocent. Love that kid.
Love the "CUP" thing. I dont think Brenner or Cayden would know what he was talking about either- I will ask them tonight!!!
