What a big helper....just don't drop that glass jar.
The boys brought up all the cans from the basement so we could wash them and get them ready to can some salsa.
Kenzie adding a light syrup to our yummy peaches! If nothing else, we have had a lot of fun this season canning peaches, pears, pear honey, salsa, spaghetti sauce and strawberry jam. All we have left now is canning our 70+ pounds of chicken that is frozen out in the freezer. Hopefully we'll get to that this week sometime.

Looks like we know where to go when there is a food shortage!
Holy Wow and Golly Molly!!! =)
Looks Like you are well on your way to having your own "Smith's Storage". I hope that your canning labors are used for more than just shelf filler as those ones that we all passed on the left as we went towards the shelf filled with Bean and Bacon soup and the Black Olives! What did Mom ever do with all those jars full of 20-year-old fruit?!?! Now the Salsa, that would for sure get eaten around here!!! Love the soccer pics, and such creative team names! Gota love the fall.
