Karissa's Blessing Day

We blessed Karissa at home on Sunday night. Many families in our ward have been doing it at home and we thought the temperature in our backyard at 6:00 pm would be much nicer than at high noon. We had a lot of support from family and friends and John gave our little angel baby a beautiful blessing. Karissa's blessing dress was made with lots of love by her Great Grandma "Mackay". Since her dress was trimmed in yellow, I decided to decorate in yellow with a splash of orange.
It's nice to know you are loved and supported by so many good friends and family members.
Four generations!Of course there was lots of yummy food...
...and cake!We love you Karissa and are blessed to have you in our family!

O.K., Alisa, that is some amazing spread for a blessing day! You can cater mine when our baby is sealed to us in six months. And I love all the matching bows, flowers, and decor to go with Karissa's dress. I guess it doesn't surprise me considering all the coordinating bows you had to go with your outfits in high school. Karissa looked beautiful for her big day! Congratulations! I need to come see her in person.
