This is the way all good birthdays should begin. Getting to eat the cake batter,
while choosing which color of sprinkles you want your cake to have inside.
Brooke was lucky enough to be born on her favorite Uncle's birthday....February 7th.
One of the last places around to be generous to their customers who are celebrating a birthday is Red Robin. So we picked up Justin and Grams and headed for some favorites....Justin LOVES onion rings and we all love bottomless french fries! Justin looks a little stressed in this picture because moments before this picture, he was informed that everyone at the table got a spoon to help with his dessert. Ha!
For her 5th birthday Brooke wanted her own bike. She has been riding Kenzie's old bike with training wheels and is getting pretty good.
She is our little fashion-ista and LOVES picking out her own clothes. So much so, that dressing her every day is a literal battle....almost more than mom can bare.
Speaking of bare.......how cute is this little crack?!?!?
Dad adjusting the training wheels.....they won't be on long, she's already got great balance.
Later that evening, we went over to Grams house for dinner and more celebrating. Justin and Brooke shared another favorite...... Chinese food and Root Beer.
Why stop at asking for a bike if you'd also like a Razor scooter???
Riding her new scooter in her new piggy PJs.
Grams and Mackay have been working endlessly on a very fun surprise for all the little girls in the family.
Brooke was the first to unveil the big surprise!!! A special, one of a kind, American Doll closet designed and made by Pa, hangers fitted to scale by Great-Grandpa Mackay, shelves and accessory drawer made by Grams and TONS OF CUSTOM MADE OUTFITS by Mackay and Grams. WOW, amazing!
Thanks for the cute matching dresses Mackay!
Every girl's dream come true present!
When I asked Brooke what kind of cake she wanted, she just said one with LOTS of flowers. I, not being the flowery type, ask if she was sure (more than once). She was sure! So lots of flowers is what she got.
She was tickled pink about it!
Justin was turning the big 40, so he got a 40 oz can of Root Beer for his cake.
And this is exactly how all good birthdays should end!
Happy Birthday to our LittleLet...We love you lots!
